Kindergarten is a full day program that integrates structured as well as unstructured activities for five- and six-year olds. Whole group instruction and small group lessons meet the needs of individual learning styles, while learning centers in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies provide opportunities for each girl to work at her own pace. Language Arts includes reading instruction, listening, and comprehension activities. The math program includes the use of manipulative materials to reinforce an understanding of abstract concepts. The Kindergarten program promotes spiritual development, encourages positive social interactions, and reinforces a positive attitude toward school and learning.
