Prekindergarten is a full day program that provides a secure and stimulating environment to nurture the ever-active minds of four- and five-year olds.
A literary based approach integrates the study of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Introduction to letters and numbers is integral to the program. Language Arts includes journal writing, which provides opportunities for dictation, letter recognition, and phonics application. Math activities include the use of manipulative materials and games to enhance readiness skills and coordination. Enriching group experiences promote spiritual growth, sociability, sharing, and concern for peers and the environment.
