Welcome to 2008!!!!!!
Conference news.
There is an important calendar change.the March 13 conference date is moved to Tuesday, April 1. The students will have a full day of school on March 13 and MASH will be available. In March you will be asked to call in to schedule a conference time on April 1. There will be no school and no MASH on April 1st.
MS field trip.
The entire MS will attend the Tulane Shakespeare Festival production of The Taming of the Shrew on January 10. Outstanding permission slips must be returned before the 10th in order for your daughter to join us.
After school programs.
All after school programs will begin the week of January 7. Please note the link to information about our Digital Photography offering on Mondays.
Applause..
Easton Sisco danced in the half time show during the Saints -Tampa Bay football game on December 2nd in the Superdome.
Antonio and Biagia Rosinia and Mae Lobrano danced in the Delta Festival Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker during the Christmas Season
The 5th grade under the direction of Mrs. Millie Thomas presented Charles Dickens’ Scrooge. A wonderful performance!!!!!!

Google has implemented a new feature which enables you to type a telephone number into the search bar and hit enter, and you will be given the person's name and address. If you then hit Map, you will get a map to the person's house. It's a nationwide reverse telephone book.
If a child gives out his/her phone number, someone can now look it up to find out where he/she lives. The safety issues are obvious, and alarming.
Note that you can have your phone number removed or blocked.
In order to test whether your phone number is mapped, go to Google, http://www.google.com/ Type your phone number in the search bar (i.e. 555-555-1212) and hit enter. If you want to BLOCK Google from divulging your private information, simply click on your telephone number and then click on the Removal Form. Removal takes 48-hours.
