Sarah Kirkwood Reiss received her B.A. in Neuroscience and Master's degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia. Sarah was a four year college volleyball player at U.Va. and a two-time All American. She played volleyball professionally in Italy and Puerto Rico before moving to New York to work as a Fixed Income Trader at Morgan Stanley. With a desire to return to the field of athletics, Sarah earned a law degree from Cardozo University concentrating in Intellectual Property Law and Sports Law. Sarah comes to Sacred Heart from The Spence School in New York City where she served as the Associate Athletic Director and Head Volleyball Coach.
Alexis Victoria Ambeau received her B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Business Administration from Loyola University New Orleans where she played 3 years of women collegiate basketball. Alexis was an assistant coach for the Baton Rouge Lady Tigers (11-12 years old) for 1 season and coached the Lady Cardinals last season. Currently Alexis is attending Loyola University New Orleans where she is pursing her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is working at Touro Infirmary as a Pharmacy Technician.

Micki Andry is beginning her 6th year at Academy of the Sacred Heart where she is the Middle School PE teacher and Varsity basketball coach. She graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a BS in Communications with a minor in Sport Management. During her time at UT, she worked for the legendary Coach Pat Summitt in the women's basketball office. In her free time, Coach Andry loves to watch her husband coach football and baseball all while chasing her two sons (Vance, 6 and Cooper, 3) around the fields.
Greg Caro attended E.D.White Catholic High School in Thibodaux, Louisiana, where he participated in Cross Country / Track & Field for 5 years and was a member of 4 State Championship Teams in Cross Country. Greg attended Nicholls State where he continued his running career for the Colonels and also met his wife, Jenny Caro, who he followed back to the New Orleans area.
Over the last 24 years, Greg and Jenny have coached numerous sports at Sacred Heart along with getting their certification as Level I U.S. Track & Field Coaches.
The Caro's are a TEAM and love every sport season they get to share together with their athletes, Past, Present and Future!
Jenny Caro was a 5 sport athlete in high school and went on to attend Nicholls State University on a softball scholarship. Jenny has been a part of 8 State Championships and 2 State Runner up Championships in Cross Country plus one State Runner up in Track and Field and a number of individual state champions. Jenny is Director of junior golf at Bayou Barriere and was named the assistant director of the LPGA Junior golf program at Oak Harbor. She is also part of the U. S. Kids junior golf tour. Jenny has coached a number of different sports and has been coaching at Sacred Heart for 23 years.

Molly Cowley originates from small town Jefferson City, Missouri, but eventually found her way to the south. She graduated with her B.S. in Elementary Education from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL where she played four years of college soccer. Molly also teaches first primary at ASH.
"Despite tearing my ACL twice in college, I love the game and never want to stop being around it.I coach because I want to share that love."
Maddie LaForge was active in the Sacred Heart’s volleyball program before graduating in 2011. She then played for two years at Spring Hill College, where she received a B.S. in psychology and theology. Maddie is excited to be back at the Heart before beginning a volunteer rotation in Peru with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps.

Kara Martin has been the Head Swim Coach for the Academy of the Sacred Heart since 1993. She has 1 State championship title, 6 State runner-up titles and 19 District championship titles. She was honored with District Swim Coach of the Year 8 times. In 1996 she has became a level one U.S.A.S. Certified Swim Coach and in 2006 United States certified stroke and turn judge. Kara received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from Louisiana Medical Center in New Orleans.
She has a passion helping young athletes strengthen their bodies physically while nurturing their mental well being.
Sarah graduated from Sacred Heart in 2014. She is currently attending LSU Baton Rouge studying Nursing and comes home for practices during the week. She and Chelsea grew the cheerleading team at Sacred Heart from the beginning when they were freshmen. It was tough but they never gave up and are very proud to still be a part of something so special to them.

Leslie earned her B.S. in Physical Education and her M.Ed. in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Physiology from the University of New Orleans. She has been a Physical Education teacher in all levels (Nursery – Upper School) over her 34 years at Sacred Heart, and has served as Physical Education department head for the last 20+ years. A multi-sport athlete herself, Leslie has coached various sports including Gymnastics, Soccer, Flag Football, Basketball, and Track and Field. Leslie is an avid runner and triathlete and is looking forward to being a part of the Cross Country program.
