This philosophy places classroom teachers in the role of advisors to assist students to:

• develop their academic potential,
• experience a positive involvement with the school and with one another,
• learn to listen and accept the ideas of others,
• make decisions regarding academic choices,
• develop significant relationships with caring adults in the school environment.
• have students sit in a circle with you included.
• ask them what topics they want included.
