Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Coaching Experience, 3-5 years prior High School or collegiate/high school playing experience

Middle School Softball Coach will;

• Understand, embrace, and implement the school's mission and philosophy as written in the Sacred Heart Goals and Criteria; participate in the Christ-centered life of the school; and model the school’s philosophy in working with students, parents, colleagues, and administration.
• Conduct practices, motivating students, and instructing student athletes in game strategies and techniques.
• Instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success
• Work in collaboration with middle school, and middle school administrators
• Provide leadership in player development and game preparation.
• Provide weekly communication with players and parents on logistics and scheduling.
• Work in collaboration with Athletic Director/Assistant Athletic Director to handle other official content related to the middle school softball program
• Devote commitment, passion, and energy into all Sacred Heart athletic teams, including but not limited to attending sporting events and supporting fellow coaches and the Sacred Heart student-athletes.
• The position requires practices 2-3 times a week including matches/games. (Including Saturday)

• A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and 1 year of experience.

Sacred Heart Summer Camp is currently accepting applications for Summer Camp Counselors.

Application deadline is Friday, (date to come). Interviews will be scheduled on (date to come). There is a mandatory orientation for all new staff members on (date to come). If hired, counselors will be asked to provide a copy of their birth certificate and health insurance information. Counselors age 16-18 will be required to have a work permit. Counselors in training (CIT), must be entering 8th or 9th grade.
