Global and Domestic Exchange:
With 150 Sacred Heart schools around the world, we offer students the unique opportunity to explore other cultures through the familiarity of our shared Sacred Heart identity. For our high school students, we offer both group delegations and individual exchanges, with established partnerships in Spain, Ireland, Austria, Italy, France, Mexico, Chile, and Australia. During Middle School, students can participate in exchanges with one of our Network schools in North America. Whether traveling with classmates or staying with a Sacred Heart host family abroad, students experience a total immersion in language, culture, and daily school life. Exchange students return as bridge builders—young women who lead with empathy, curiosity, and the first-hand knowledge that Sacred Heart is a global family.

Past participants have attended schools in Canada, France, Chile, the U.K., Ireland, Peru, Austria, Spain and Australia. And they consistently rate the experience as one of the most formative of their young lives, in terms of broadening their perspective and building lifelong friendships.
Reciprocity:
Students attend school and live with a Sacred Heart family in another country. Before or after the trip, the Rosary student in turn will host an international student in New Orleans. Hosting allows our students to view their own country, culture and lifestyle through the eyes of their exchange student – and costs are minimal.
