Academy of the Sacred Heart Announces Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the Class of 2026

Academy of the Sacred Heart proudly announces Amelia Stein as Valedictorian and Eleanore Habetz as Salutatorian of the Class of 2026.

Amelia Stein, daughter of Mr. David Stein and Dr. Erin Berger Stein, distinguished herself as a National Merit Finalist, U.S. Presidential Scholar Candidate, AP Scholar with Distinction, and President of the National Honor Society. She earned regional and national recognition through Quiz Bowl and Academic Games and conducted neuroscience research through LSU’s Summer Undergraduate Neuroscience Program. This fall, Amelia will attend Tulane University as a Dean’s Honor Scholar, where she plans to study Neuroscience and Public Health Healthcare Administration on a pre-med track.

Eleanore Habetz, daughter of Mrs. Julie Brewer Habetz ’92 and Dr. Scott Joseph Habetz, is an AP Scholar with Distinction who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in academics, athletics, faith, and service. A standout student-athlete, she earned All-State, All-Metro, and All-District honors in soccer and volleyball while serving in numerous leadership roles at Sacred Heart and within the St. Dominic CYO community. Eleanore will attend The University of Texas at Austin this fall to study biology on a pre-med track.

The Class of 2026 includes 58 graduates who have excelled in academics, athletics, leadership, service, and the arts. To date, the class has earned 234 scholarships totaling more than $19.1 million.
