Honoring Helen Read Young '88: 2026 Alumna of the Year
Academy of the Sacred Heart is proud to recognize Helen Read Young ’88 as our Alumna of the Year, celebrating her lifelong dedication to our school and her unwavering commitment to advancing its mission.
Helen’s impact on Sacred Heart spans years of extraordinary leadership and service. Having previously served as a leader in Institutional Advancement, she continues to shape the school’s future in her current roles as a member of the Board of Trustees, Chair of the Institutional Advancement Committee, and an active Alumnae Board member. Through these positions, Helen has played a vital role in strengthening the school’s philanthropic foundation while generously sharing her time, talent, and vision.
Beyond her dedicated service to Sacred Heart, Helen is a deeply active leader in the greater New Orleans community. Her life and work stand as a living example of the Goals and Criteria—marked by faith, humility, generosity, and an enduring commitment to building community.
