7/8 Basketball Competes Against Hynes, Country Day, and John Curtis
7/8 Basketball captured a win vs. Hynes with a final score of 26-21. Jane A.’31 had a big scoring night with 17 points. Hartley P.’30 had 6 and KK. D.’31 turned in 6 points as well. The Cardinals then dropped their contest vs. Country Day 27-11. The team had many shot opportunities that just didn’t fall making it tough for the Cards to compete. The leading scorer was KK. D.’31 with 5 points. The team then kept the game close with John Curtis but again scoring woes hindered the Cardinals chances for a victory, losing 30-25. KK. D.’31 led the scoring column with 12 points while Hartley P. ’30 had 5 points.

The Cardinal Basketball team traveled to Washington, DC, over winter break to compete in the Sacred Heart Network Basketball Tournament, facing strong competition while building meaningful community with sister schools from across the country.
