Academy of the Sacred Heart Swim Team delivered an exceptional performance at the Newman Meet on Saturday, going head-to-head with Country Day, McGehee, Newman, and Willow. From the first dive to the final relay, the Cardinals showcased incredible focus, teamwork, and determination. Their effort and spirit paid off as the team captured 1st place overall, proving once again that hard work, unity, and heart make all the difference in the pool.

Relay Teams Dominated the Lanes
Both relay teams finished 1st place in their events:
• 200 Medley Relay – Hartley P. ’30, Therese Carton ’29, Teresa Casseri ’28, and Elle Cummings ’29
• 200 Freestyle Relay – Therese Carton ’29, Elle Cummings ’29, Hartley P. ’30, and Teresa Casseri ’28

Top Individual Finishes
• Therese Carton ’29 – 3rd in 100 yd Backstroke and 1st in 100 yd Breaststroke
• Elle Cummings ’29 – 2nd in 50 yd Freestyle and 2nd in 500 yd Freestyle
• Teresa Casseri ’28 – 1st in 200 yd Individual Medley and 1st in 50 yd Freestyle
• Brigitte D. ’31 – 3rd in 200 yd Freestyle and 4th in 500 yd Freestyle
• Hartley P. ’30 – 5th in 50 yd Freestyle and 4th in 100 yd Breaststroke
• Kate T. ’27 – 5th in 500 yd Freestyle

State Championship Qualifiers
• Teresa Casseri ’28 – 50 yard Freestyle
• Brigitte D. ’31 – 200 yd Freestyle
