ASH Volleyball vs Haynes
Last week, on Tuesday October 7 the JV volleyball team beat Haynes (25-12, 25-15) in straight sets. Lucia Walsh ’28 led the team with 8 digs followed by Hazel Price ’29 and Stella Mestayer ’29 with 6 each and Emerson Guste ’29 finished with 5. Olivia G. ’28 led with 8 kills. Hazel and Reese Provosty’29 each had 4 kills, followed by Lucia and Mary Frances Baldwin ’28 with 3 each. Stella had 2 aces. Nice Job JV!
The Varsity team fell short in a 5 match thriller against the 2024 Division 3 State Champions. (25-22, 20-25, 20-25, 25-19, 11-15) We are the only team to take them to 5 sets and what a match it was!
Ellie Habetz ’26 and Eleanore Lowe ’28 each had 3 aces. Ellie led with 27 digs and Maddie LeBlanc ’28 had 10 digs. Elizabeth Alford ’27 finished strong with 19 kills and Eleanore had 15. Olivia M. ’26 and Ava Benefield ’29 both had 6 kills each. Caroline B. ’27 had 23 assists, 15 digs and 9 kills. Courtney Habetz ’28 had 22 assists and 22 digs. Keep working hard Varsity, State is just around the corner!

The Cardinal Basketball team traveled to Washington, DC, over winter break to compete in the Sacred Heart Network Basketball Tournament, facing strong competition while building meaningful community with sister schools from across the country.

Academy of the Sacred Heart has earned PLATINUM recognition on the 2025 AP School Honor Roll.

Academy of the Sacred Heart celebrated the Feast of Mater Admirabilis on October 20, 2025, with an all-school Mass and live tableau. This year’s senior class chose Kate Cummings '25.
