Cardinal Cross Country
On Halloween morning the Cross Country Team held their annual spooky practice while jogging down St. Charles Ave. to the skeleton house and back in their festive costumes. The next morning, 6 members of the team raced in the New Orleans JV Metro Championship in City Park. On this brisk morning, the runners, cheered on by a number of fans and their classmates, captured the Runner Up team title out of 6 total teams and 76 runners.

12th 22:25.92 ~ Colleen Collins '27

With only 2 races left, the team is in the final stretch of this very successful season and this team is very talented and competitive. In the next 2 races, only 7 runners can be entered and every runner is working and training hard to be at their best in order to try and secure one of those spots.
The Cardinals race this Friday, Nov. 7 at 11:30 am in City Park at the Div. II Region III State Qualifier, with the Top 8 teams earning their spots in the State Championship on Nov. 17 in Natchitoches.

Academy of the Sacred Heart celebrated the Feast of Mater Admirabilis on October 20, 2025, with an all-school Mass and live tableau. This year’s senior class chose Kate Cummings '25.
