Cardinal Golf Tees Off Season with Big Win
The Academy of the Sacred Heart Golf team opened up their season with a huge victory over Mt. Carmel. It was a great start for the upcoming golf season. Jade Neves ’28 finished 1st overall among all golfers and led the Cardinals with shooting a low score of 1 under par 35. She made 7 straight pars and a birdie on hole number 9. Emery Kane ’29 finished 2nd overall while shooting a low score of 39. She made back to back pars and birdied number 8. A very impressive round for her first varsity golf match. C Lavinge ’28 finished 3rd for the team and 4th overall. She had back to back pars which led to shooting the low score of 42. Other golfers that finished in the top 5 for Sacred Heart and contributed to scores were Grace Gunn ’27. The next match is Wednesday against Ben Franklin. Congrats Cardinals!

The Cardinal Basketball team traveled to Washington, DC, over winter break to compete in the Sacred Heart Network Basketball Tournament, facing strong competition while building meaningful community with sister schools from across the country.
