Congratulations to the Sacred Heart Golf Team on their back to back run and bringing home another LHSAA Division II State Championship. The Cardinals dominated the field with a team score of 305 finishing an astounding 37 strokes ahead of the competition. Not only did the team have the lowest score in Division II but they also had the lowest out of the entire competition by beating the Division I team by 18 strokes. This group of girls continued the winning tradition with Sacred Heart Golf and proved that this program is one of the best in Girls Golf throughout the State. Jade Neves ’28 shined once again, by claiming individual Champion honors for the second consecutive year and the 3rd in her career here at Sacred Heart. She has proved once again that she is one of the best to have ever played high school golf in the State of Louisiana. She shot even par 73 on day 1 and came back to shoot 2 under 71 for a combined score of 144. Jade had 4 birdies in round 1 and 3 birdies with a chipped in eagle on day 2. She played solid golf all week to help lead the team to the title. Maddie Rudolph ’26 finished off her golf career with a bang by helping the team bring home another Championship. She finished 5th overall in the State to earn All State Honors. Freshmen Emery Kane ’29 came through big on Day 2 by shooting 6 over par for 79 to help the team lead in scoring overall. She also had an Eagle on day 1 from 130 yards. Emery had 12 pars on Day II to help her have the 3rd lowest score of the day in our division. From start to finish, the Cardinals delivered a powerful performance. Go Cardinals!!!!!!
