Cardinals defend Regional title behind historic performance from Neves
Congrats to the Sacred Heart golf team for defending their Regional Championship title yesterday at Santa Maria Golf Club. The team was crowned Regional Champs with a total team score of 154 and outscoring the next competitor by 27 strokes. Jade Neves ’27 won the individual Regional Title for the 4th year in a row. Jade shot 4 under Par with a score of 69. She was the only golfer in the field to shoot under par. Emery Kane ’29 playing in her first regional Championship finished 2nd for the team with shooting a score of 85. Maddie Rudolph ’26 rounded out the scores for the Cardinals with a score of 87. All 3 golfers finished in the top 10. The Cardinals now move on to the State Championships in Lafayette, LA.

Academy of the Sacred Heart has appointed Courtney Ward as Director of Athletics and Joseph Kepper as Associate Director of Athletics, effective July 1, 2026, following a comprehensive national search and community-driven interview process.

This year, 32 Sacred Heart students qualified for State Rally, 19 of whom placed in the top three in their respective subject areas. In addition, three students were awarded at the South Central District Rally in Visual Arts.
