Varsity Cross Country | Newman Meet 10.11
The Cross Country Team ran very aggressively on Saturday at the Catholic High Invitational in Baton Rouge against most of the best runners and teams that Louisiana has to offer and came away with a 4th Place finish out of 26 complete teams, the best finish in 7 years. It was also a 5K (3.1 Miles), which shows the great strength that this team has worked hard to obtain and with only 4 meets remaining until the State Championship, the runners are focused on staying hungry for an opportunity to do as well as they can at State.
There were a total of 202 runners that finished the 3.1 miles on that cool morning with the hills and this is how the Academy of the Sacred Heart runners fared:

The Cardinal Basketball team traveled to Washington, DC, over winter break to compete in the Sacred Heart Network Basketball Tournament, facing strong competition while building meaningful community with sister schools from across the country.

Academy of the Sacred Heart has earned PLATINUM recognition on the 2025 AP School Honor Roll.

Academy of the Sacred Heart celebrated the Feast of Mater Admirabilis on October 20, 2025, with an all-school Mass and live tableau. This year’s senior class chose Kate Cummings '25.
