The Preschool Love of Learning

Sacred Heart's Preschool program nurtures the innate sense of wonder each girl has about herself and her world—a gift from God. Throughout the Preschool years, our curriculum emphasizes the joy of discovery and enables her to develop a positive self-concept, a love of learning and essential readiness skills. Students are also introduced to special Sacred Heart traditions with events unique to Preschool like the Blessing of the (plushie) Animals, Author Tea and a Sink or Swim science experiment around the Rosary campus fountain.

Social & Emotional Learning

Classroom and Enrichment teachers are trained in Responsive Classroom practices. Responsive Classroom is an evidence-based approach to teaching and discipline that focuses on engaging academics, positive community, effective management, and developmental awareness. Allowing Sacred Heart Educators to create safe, joyful, and engaging classrooms and school communities where students develop strong social and academic skills and every student can thrive.
