Meet the Class of 2020

Catherine Grace Connick '20: (Louisiana State University)

catherine grace connick class of 2020

How long have you attended Sacred Heart?
15 years

What are your future plans for college and beyond?
I plan on attending LSU and majoring in psychology on the premed track. I hope to one day attend med school and become a doctor.

What is your favorite Sacred Heart memory?
Going to Sacred Heart for the majority of my life, there are so many memories to choose from! I would say my favorite memories would be winning the Rally dance award sophomore year/. We worked so hard to win and really came together as a grade! Another favorite memory would be bonding with my homeroom. Over the four years our homeroom became super close and we would just really make the most of our time together.

What would you like to say to your younger ASH sisterhood?
Have fun, be friends, go to parties, make memories, be a kid! Make friends with everyone even if you're not the best of friends. Be yourself no matter what even if that’s scary. Trust me, no one is judging you as much as you think they will. Everything's works itself out in the end so don’t worry too much. Take school seriously but not too seriously. Your time at Sacred Heart goes by fast, faster than you really think. Cherish your time together and make the most of it because you never know what tomorrow will bring. Sacred Heart is truly a special place!

What will you miss about Sacred Heart?
The thing I will miss the most about Sacred Heart is walking the halls everyday and talking to my friends as we go from class to class. I will miss assembly and chapel and NewsFlash. I will miss the funny interactions with our teachers. But mostly I will miss my 37 classmates every day!

List of accomplishments:
I was Vice President of my class for three years. I was chosen to be on Peer Support and was even selected as President of Peer Support this year. I was also the manager of the Soccer team this year and made such great memories with the team!
