What does being an ASH leader mean to you?
Being an ASH leader is a wonderful compliment. To me, being seen as a leader means my friends, other students, and teachers see my integrity and compassion. Being a leader of ASH is also about trying to live out the Sacred Heart goals in my everyday life, not just when someone is watching.
How does ASH prepare you to compete?
Sacred Heart helps prepare me to compete as a nationally ranked golfer through having good time management and believing in my own personal growth. I've learned how to balance academics, athletics, and personal responsibilities. If I continue to work hard and believe in myself, there will be positive results in the classroom and on the golf course.
How does Sacred Heart bring you joy?
What I enjoy most about Sacred Heart is the community and the lasting friendships. I love how our community is so supportive of one another, and I can always ask my peers for advice and encouragement. I also enjoy that Sacred Heart teaches me how to be the best version of myself through the opportunities I get to grow as a leader.

Academy of the Sacred Heart has appointed Courtney Ward as Director of Athletics and Joseph Kepper as Associate Director of Athletics, effective July 1, 2026, following a comprehensive national search and community-driven interview process.
