ALUMNAE AWARDS
All Alumnae and members of Academy of the Sacred Heart community are invited to submit nominations for these awards, and include specific reasons for their nomination. The CRITERIA for these awards are as follows:
ALUMNA OF THE YEAR
In 1976, the alumnae of the Rosary established the Alumna of the Year Award to be presented annually to an outstanding alumna, whose devotion and loyalty to her alma mater we wish to recognize. Alumna of all ages are eligible for this award. The person nominated:
• Models a faith life consistent with the values of Sacred Heart education,
• Has made outstanding contributions to the school
• Manifests an interest in, and support of, the whole school
*NOTE: Alumna who are employed by The Rosary are not eligible to receive this award while employed.
ST. ROSE PHILIPPINE DUCHESNE AWARD
This award is given to an individual who, though not an alumna of the Rosary, has and continues to render outstanding service to the school. It is presented with deep appreciation and gratitude to this individual for living the goals and values of our Sacred Heart education in home and business.
ST. MADELEINE SOPHIE BARAT AWARD
This award is given to a Religious of the Sacred Heart (RSCJ) who has contributed greatly to the needs of the students and the Rosary community.
MOTHER SHANNON CHANGEMAKER AWARD
The Mother Shannon Changemaker Award provides the opportunity to recognize an alumna that has taken seriously our motto of "our girls change the world" by making a difference in her community outside of her dedication to Sacred Heart. The person nominated:
• Embodies the characteristics laid out in our Goals and Criteria, and
• Creates positive change through her professional career or philanthropic endeavors in her community

ASH ATHLETICS HALL OF FAME
Sacred Heart Alumnae athletes who competed prior to 2014 are eligible to be voted into the ASH Sacred Heart Athletics Hall of Fame. Hall of Fame honors are awarded every three years. The next induction will be held in 2027.
