Thomas "Tommy" Capella began his involvement with Sacred Heart as a parent when he chaired Dads on Duty from the 2010-11 until the 2015-16 school year.

Marylee Orr began her advocacy work in 1984 when she founded Mothers Against Air Pollution, a grassroots effort driven by her concern for the environment after her son was born with a severe respiratory illness.
