Stay and Play (PLUS)
For Little Hearts through Grade 4, Stay and Play (PLUS) is a dynamic and engaging program where children learn and grow through the most natural and enjoyable activity: play. Play is the primary way young children learn about the world around them and themselves. It's intrinsically motivated, occurring without external demands or rewards.
The Stay and Play (PLUS) activities are designed to naturally support children in reaching crucial developmental milestones.
In essence, Stay and Play (PLUS) is where learning is disguised as pure joy. It's a space where children can explore, discover, make friends, and develop crucial skills, all while having fun and building a strong foundation for their future development.

Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday: 3:45-5:45pm
PLUS will be closed on the following dates:
FALL: August 13th, September 7th, October 9th, 12th, November 23rd-27th, December 18th, December 21st-January 5th
SPRING: January 18th, February 3rd, 4th, 5th, 8th-12th, March 25th, 26th, 29th, 30th,
August 14, 2025 is the first day of Stay and Play (PLUS).
May 25, 2026, is the last day of Stay and Play (PLUS).
Reservation System:
- In the 2026-2027 school year, Stay and Play (PLUS) will continue to use a reservation system.
- A Google Form will be in The Rise and Thrive and the Little Cardinal Courier weekly.
- Families must reserve a spot for the upcoming week. Families may choose a prepaid semester option, which is automatically included in the system.
Fee:
PLUS is billed on the quarter hour at a rate of $15.00 per hour. If a family makes a reservation for PLUS and does not use it, a flat rate of $15.00 per day will be charged.
