Honoring the Class of 2010
Communications
2010

The Class of 2010 marks 10 years since graduating from the Rosary and since they compiled their “Soundtrack of the Sacred Heart” themed yearbook. In choosing this theme, these girls recognized the many unique genres of songs within the school that sound great on their own, but combine to form an even sweeter harmony.

The class dedicated their yearbook to Guiliano Ieronimo, known to all students as Ron. In a heartfelt and playful poem, the seniors recounted Ron’s childhood in Italy, his artistic inspirations, his diverse artistic talents and his favorite heart-stopping trick of pretending to cut his finger off!

For their last year of Rally, the seniors sent themselves to Bootcamp and came away with awards in decorations, pep and overall spirit! Other memorable moments of their final year was the Surprise Conge in January 29 with a Back to the 80s theme, the Saints winning the Superbowl (!!), and their “Time after Time” 80s themed prom.

Ellie Quin was chosen as Mater, Caroline Bologna was Valedictorian, Margaret Forshag was Salutatorian, and Julia Berner received the Mater Medal.  The Student Council Executive Board was led by President Emery Finegan, Vice-President Caroline Bologna, Secretary/Treasurer Katie McDougal, Member at Large  Caroline Crumley and Artist Maggie Mentz.

The last song on the soundtrack of 2010? The seniors wrapped up their senior story with their Song of 2010, with a final reference to the song that all of us associate with the final walk down the aisle: Coeur de Jesus. Aww. Well, actually, then they slipped in one more – a twist on Miley Cyrus’s Party in the USA. It was 2010 after all!
