The faculty, staff, administration and students at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans are excited to welcome St. Philomena School in Portsmouth, Rhode Island to the Network of Sacred Heart Schools. With the addition of St. Philomena, the Network now comprises 25 Sacred Heart schools in the U.S. and Canada. Internationally, our network includes schools in over 40 countries, a truly global presence for the vision that began over 220 years ago in France.

Membership in our international network is an essential element of our Sacred Heart identity and a meaningful part of school life for our students, here at The Rosary (the nickname used by other Sacred Heart schools to refer to ASH in New Orleans). From our increasingly popular student exchange program to the long-held traditions that are observed at each school, we treasure the strong relationships our school holds with its sister and brother schools in our network.
In the days and months ahead, we look forward to forging those bonds with the St. Philomena community, and hopefully we will have the opportunity to visit each other's campuses in person. Until that time, our students are eager to welcome the newest sister to our family, with a short video (click picture to view).
Bienvenue from the Rosary!
