Sacred Heart Swimming at St. Martin’s Swim Meet

Outstanding Performance by the Cardinals

Academy of the Sacred Heart Swim Team delivered an impressive showing at the St. Martin’s Swim Meet on Tuesday, competing against Destrehan, St. Charles, St. James, St. Martin, Mount Carmel, and Northlake Christian. Despite facing several larger teams with multiple competitors in each event, the Cardinals secured an outstanding 4th place overall.

Relay Highlights

·        200-yard Medley Relay Teams – 5th and 8th place

·        200-yard Freestyle Relay Teams – 6th and 8th place

·        400-yard Freestyle Relay Teams – 3rd and 7th place

o   The 3rd-place team featured Coco Rudolph ’29, Natalie D. ’27, Brigitte D. ’31, and Teresa Casseri ’28

Top Individual Finishes

·        Amelie Allen ’28 – 9th in 200-yard Freestyle

·        Teresa Casseri ’28 – 5th in 50-yard Freestyle; 4th in 100-yard Breaststroke

·        Elle Cummings ’29 – 9th in 200-yard Individual Medley; 6th in 500-yard Freestyle

·        Brigitte D. ’31 – 13th in 100-yard Butterfly; 16th in 100-yard Backstroke

·        Natalie D. ’27 – 10th in 200-yard Individual Medley; 9th in 100-yard Freestyle

·        Hartley P. ’30 – 11th in 100-yard Butterfly; 13th in 100-yard Breaststroke

·        Coco Rudolph ’29 – 4th in 200-yard Individual Medley; 4th in 100-yard Freestyle

·        Elise Scafidel ’28 – 16th in 100-yard Butterfly

·        Elodie Scafidel ’26 – 10th in 100-yard Butterfly; 14th in 100-yard Backstroke
