Fancy Nancy illustrator Robin Preiss Glasser and her sister Jacqueline Preiss Weitzman visited Sacred Heart to discuss their newest book, Gloria's Promise.

The critically acclaimed book is about a young girl who auditions for the summer intensive at the American Ballet Theatre.

Glasser and Weitzman delighted the audiences with a discussion about their book and the creative process, a reading of Gloria's Promise, and a brief ballet lesson on some poses and on how to curtsy.

Students and faculty were decked out in "fancy" dress of boas, tutus, hats, and tiaras ... it was a sparkling day!
