On December 20, students, faculty, alumnae, families, and friends celebrated community, compassion, and the coming of Christ at the annual Basket Mass. Basket Mass is a Sacred Heart tradition that dates back to the early 1940s and highlights the value of personal sacrifice in order to bring joy to others during the holiday season. Current families and alumnae provided approximately 450 baskets of food to share with those in need throughout the New Orleans community.
