Shape and color recognition is an important part of the Little Hearts one-year-old curriculum. Students were each given different colored buttons and tasked to match not only the color, but the shape of the button as well. This helps them differentiate categories and recognize key subject matter for their age.

Academy of the Sacred Heart, New Orleans, has earned the College Board AP® Computer Science Female Diversity Award for achieving high female representation in AP Computer Science Principles. Schools honored with the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award have expanded girls’ access in AP computer science courses.
A few weeks ago, the Class of 2029 had the chance to experience the natural beauty of Camp Kahdalea in Brevard, North Carolina.
Thomas "Tommy" Capella began his involvement with Sacred Heart as a parent when he chaired Dads on Duty from the 2010-11 until the 2015-16 school year.
