Shape and color recognition is an important part of the Little Hearts one-year-old curriculum. Students were each given different colored buttons and tasked to match not only the color, but the shape of the button as well. This helps them differentiate categories and recognize key subject matter for their age.

Academy of the Sacred Heart, New Orleans, has earned the College Board AP® Computer Science Female Diversity Award for achieving high female representation in AP Computer Science Principles.
