As part of their study of oviparous animals, Little Hearts three-year-olds learned about creatures with feathers with a focus on the ostrich, hummingbird, and chicken. After discussing each creature's habitat, characteristics, and diet, students built nests, assembled ostriches, and painted colorful hummingbirds.
