Middle School Academic Games Wins 2nd Place at NOAGL Tournament

Sacred Heart's Academic Games team won 2nd place in the elementary division of the New Orleans Academic Games League 2019-20 Propaganda tournament. Three of our players finished in the top ten of 102 students city-wide.

Our Equations team tied for 1st Place and overall finished in 2nd Place after a play-off round in their division of the NOAGL Equations tournament. 

6th Grade student, Rene Charles, tied for 1st Place overall in the elementary division of Equations, and 5th Grade student, Arabella Lara tied for 1st Place overall in the learners division.

Academy of the Sacred Heart, New Orleans, has earned the College Board AP® Computer Science Female Diversity Award for achieving high female representation in AP Computer Science Principles. Schools honored with the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award have expanded girls’ access in AP computer science courses.
