Robotics Team Wins Judges' Award in FIRST® LEGO® League

Our Middle School Robotics Club, the Riveters, competed in their first ever FIRST® LEGO® League

competition on Saturday, December 14. The Riveters placed 7th overall and received the Judges Award.

From this tournament, six teams move on to the next level. As the team in 7th place, the Riveters did not qualify to move on, but were invited to join the waitlist should any team not be able to participate. The Riveters were honored to receive the Judges award, which is an optional award that gives the judges freedom to recognize remarkable teams that stand out for reasons other than the Required Award categories.

The Riveters Club is composed of the following students: Marguerite Doucet (’25), Charlotte Johnston (’26), Kate Cummings (’26), Lilah Deynoodt (’26), Maddie Rudolph (’26), Ellie Habetz (’26), Sofia Sercovich (’26), Caroline Kogos (’26), My-Linh Holmes (’27).
