Monet Ménard named salutatorian of the Class of 2020

Sacred Heart is proud to announce that Monet Elizabeth Ménard is the salutatorian of the Class of 2020. Ménard has been recognized with numerous academic awards, including the Rensselaer Medal Award for outstanding academic achievement in mathematics and science. In her senior year, Ménard served as the President of the National Honors Society and Chair of the Honor Council. Ménard was heavily involved in the Sacred Heart Athletic Program, participating in soccer, cross country, and track and field teams, with the distinction of the all-district title in track and field for five years. 

Outside of her studies and sports, Ménard was a Peer Support Leader at Sacred Heart, volunteered in the Tulane Medical Center Pathology Lab, served as stage manager for multiple Sacred Heart plays and as a camp aid at Camp Green Cove.  

Ménard is the daughter of Dr. Geraldine Ménard and Mr. Robert Ménard, Jr.  She will attend Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.  She plans to major in Legal Studies with minors in English and Korean and expects to attend law school.
