Sacred Heart Students and Faculty Reach Out to Whole Kids Outreach
Will Tyrrell, Upper School Religion

In mid-July, just after school closed, seven students and two faculty took the annual 9 hour or so trip to Whole Kids Outreach (WKO) in Ellington, MO. Ash Rosary students have been volunteering with Sr. Ann Francioni SSND for over 8 years. Ms. Schroth and Sr. Anne are grade-school friends from Gentilly!

Annabel R writes, “Whole Kids was a great opportunity to help out and serve the community.” Her sister Lilly said, “This experience really showed me how amazingly privileged I am and that we should never take anything for granted.”

Marin M, a relative of Sr. Anne, reflects that: "it was such an insightful experience that made me more appreciative.”
