On September 2, five Academy of the Sacred Heart students participated in a Whole Kids Outreach SWIMATHON.
Together, the five students swam over 1,000 laps and they raised more than $1,000. Some pledges were per lap and some were flat donations. Many kids from various Greater New Orleans schools participated and raised money for Whole Kids Outreach.
Whole Kids Outreach is a faith-based, non-profit service organization committed to the unmet health and developmental needs of children. WKO serves 11 counties in rural southeast Missouri, where the average yearly income for a WKO family of four is $15,500.
