Sacred Heart is proud to announce that Zoe Elisabeth Faulkner is the valedictorian for the Class of 2019. A Varsity Quiz Bowl and Honor Council member, Faulkner has earned many prestigious academic awards throughout her years at Sacred Heart. She competed in District and State Literary Rally, earning top scores in various subjects. She also served as the parliamentarian for the National Honor Society.

A classically trained ballet dancer, Faulkner has attended many highly competitive dance intensives, including the prestigious Saratoga Summer Dance Intensive in New York. She starred as "Clara" in the New Orleans Ballet Theater's The Nutcracker in 2018 and has danced in several other professional ballet productions. She is also proficient on the trumpet and piano and regularly performs during Sacred Heart masses.

Additionally, Faulkner participated in the Sacred Heart Network Summer Service Project in Houston, "Turned Out, Modern Day Slavery," which aims to raise awareness of human trafficking. She also traveled to Vienna, Austria, and hosted an exchange student from Vienna through Sacred Heart's global exchange program.

Faulkner is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neil S. Faulkner. She will attend Villanova University.
