National Honor Society

Excellence in Leadership, Character, Scholarship and Service

The Sacred Heart chapter of the National Honor Society offers tutoring free of charge to all students in all students in grades 5-12.

Lower School:
The Lower School National Honor Society Partnership provides the opportunity for Lower School students on the Mater Campus to work in small groups and partnerships with Upper School National Honor Society (NHS) members. National Honor Society members are upperclassmen who have demonstrated evidence of character, leadership, scholarship, and service in their daily lives. This is not a tutoring or academic support service but rather an opportunity to serve as well as to build community and rapport within our Sacred Heart family.

Middle School students have the option of working after school in small groups with a team of National Honor Society members or can arrange individual tutoring before school or after school.

Upper School students can arrange one-on-one peer/student tutoring with a member of the National Honor Society before school, after school, or during lunch.

Tutoring Information: National Honor Society offers tutoring services for anyone who needs them. We have tutors for all subjects with flexible times throughout the week. Please email Mr. Wilbur at swilbur@ashrosary.org with the subject(s) you need help with and possible times you are available for tutoring before and/or after school or during lunch.

WE'RE NOCCA FRIENDLY

Sacred Heart Upper School is a NOCCA-friendly school with multiple students participating in both the half day and after school programs at NOCCA. Students participating in the half day program schedule all core class in the morning and leave Sacred Heart before lunch.
