On October 9, Sr. Barb Quinn, RSCJ led the Sacred Heart faculty, staff and administration in a day of retreat. The day of retreat and reflection began with prayer and song. The focus of the day was on God's presence in our lives through, prayer, reflection and discernment personally and as members of the Sacred Heart community. There were times of listening, times of reflection, and times of sharing. Fr. Frank Reale, SJ presided at the beautiful closing liturgy in the Rosary Chapel. After, many remained to enjoy a lovely social hour in the newly renovated parlor.

Sr. Barbara Quinn, RSCJ, is the Associate Director of Spiritual Formation at the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. Sr. Quinn earned a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry (spirituality concentration). Prior to going to Boston, Sr. Quinn served as the director of the Center for Christian Spirituality at the University of San Diego. Her ministries have included spiritual direction and retreats, teaching on college and graduate levels, lay leadership training, formation work and administration.
