Ten Sacred Heart students in eighth through twelfth grade were recognized for their outstanding performances at the annual State Literary Rally held at Louisiana State University on April 6. They each placed in the top three in their respective subject areas and were among more than 5,000 Louisiana high school students who advanced to State Rally for earning top scores at nine District Rallies held throughout the state in February. An academic tradition since 1909, State Rally is held by the Louisiana High School Rally Association (LHSRA) to promote keen competition and to recognize academic excellence.
