A Catholic, independent, college-prep school for girls, ages 1 – 12th grade.

Your Sacred Heart journey starts here.

ashley zito admission directorThank you for your interest in the Academy of the Sacred Heart. Sacred Heart is more than an education – it’s a way of life. Here, our students will have a personal and active faith in God, a deep respect of intellectual values, a social awareness which impels to action, the building of community, and the personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom. These five goals are what make us unique and bond us together as part of the Network of Sacred Heart Schools.

As a graduate of the Academy of the Sacred Heart and former educator, I truly value the all-girls school experience. Encouraged to change the world, our students are risk- takers, learn from mistakes, develop leadership skills, and embrace intellectual curiosity in the classroom, on a stage, on the field, and in a studio.

Our admission team is ready to support you throughout the admission process. We are available to answer questions and help you decide if Sacred Heart will be the best educational choice for your daughter and best community for your family. Please contact our office directly by phone at 504.269.1213.

I believe in the all-girls school experience. As a student at Sacred Heart, I valued the positive academic interactions and the open and safe exchange of ideas, which gave me the confidence to use my voice in any setting. As an alumna I look forward to walking through the gates each day and being a part of the community that teaches these attributes to the students of today and the future.

There are many ways to get to know us. The best way is to experience our community firsthand by visiting and scheduling a tour.

Sincerely,

Ashley Zito '92
