General Maintenance Mechanic

The Academy of the Sacred Heart is seeking a General Maintenance Mechanic. The General Maintenance Mechanic is directly accountable to the Maintenance Supervisor and the Director of Facilities. On a daily basis, the applicant will work in conjunction with the Director of Facilities and the Maintenance Supervisor to maintain the physical plants and to ensure the security and safety of the buildings and its occupants.

Middle School Algebra Teacher

The Academy of the Sacred Heart is currently accepting résumés for a full-time Algebra Teacher for Middle School (grades 5-8). The ideal candidate has at least three years of teaching experience in a middle or high school and possesses a degree in the mathematics field. He/she has experience integrating technology, designing lessons with a STEAM approach, and building lessons to engage all learners. He/she demonstrates a desire to innovate, create, and collaborate with students and colleagues. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal and writing skills and exhibits flexibility, organization, and empathy. The Academy of the Sacred Heart is currently accepting résumés for full-day and half-day substitute teachers in the Lower School (prekindergarten - grade 4).

  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field
  • Experience working with children in groups or one-on-one, depending on the needs of children and the subject matter
  • Experience organizing activities so children can learn about the world, explore interests, and develop talents
  • Flexible schedule, willingness to adapt to multiple scenarios, and self-motivated work ethic
